Master colour and light: a unique, creative photography workshop.

Join us on Saturday, April 13 for a unique studio photography workshop with David Shoukry. Explore the power of colour, set design, and dramatic lighting to craft stunning editorial-style images. You'll work with Roxana Gavrau, an experienced fashion, fine art and commercial model. The workshop is a very detailed look into hard & soft lighting, shooting and retouching.

What you'll gain

• Elevate your editorial style: experiment with diverse setups—90s-inspired advertising looks, painterly light, subtle gels, and intricate gobos.

• Tiny group, big results: learn intimately with expert guidance, generous 1-2-1 shooting time and produce exceptional work.

• Professional studio experience: work in a spacious West London studio with top-tier Elinchrom lighting—everything is done for you, with the freedom for you to modify the setups.

• Supportive community: learn from your peers and build lasting connections within our active photography community on Facebook, or with David via email/Zoom.

What sets us apart

• Curated vision: enjoy meticulously planned setups, stunning hand-painted backdrops, and stylish wardrobe options.

• Hands-on learning: experiment with lighting setups and personalise them to your creative vision. The workshop is suitable for photographers of all levels, and you’ll receive as much (or as little) support as you want.

• Professional feedback: receive constructive guidance from an experienced instructor to enhance your skills.

See the possibilities: check out the images below for a taste of what you'll create, featuring Roxana and other models.
